The Golden Urn 2025

 

Daugavpils Geek club is pleased to announce our next tournament in The Golden Urn event series. We are waiting for your armies in Daugavpils for the annual team tournament on the last weekend of September 27-28.09.2025.

Since everyone is expecting the new data slate any second now, we've decided to postpone the rules freeze a little bit more - until Wednesday 17.09. If it comes out, we will follow it for both the army building and the gameplay. The deadline for roster submissions remains 22.09.

⚔️ Format: 2 days, 5 games; team tournament, 5 members per team; armies team must not repeat within a team; 2k pts.

⚔️ Paint/Model requirements: WYSIWYG. Proxies and 3D printed models are allowed. Battle-ready will give you +10 pts.

⚔️ Chapter Approved 2025-26. WTC rules. WTC Terrain format. Freezing the rules on 17.09.2025.

⚔️ Chess clocks are optional. But if one player wants to use them during a game, both players must use them. If you want to play with chess clocks, please bring them with you and be ready to explain how they work to your opponent. Our clock stock is limited.

⚔️ Player's participation: 30 Eur. This includes snacks and drinks on both days. You'll be able to order food via Bolt / Wolt services + there are grocery stores in the area.

⚔️ Limit: 6 teams, so hurry up to register your team while there are still places available.
